Here is how the Ride Reward Program works. “Every time a Rider or Co-Rider participates in a ride, parade, or specified Public Service Event their mileage will be annotated in a chapter spreadsheet and posted to our web site. We look forward to everyone’s participation

The group Wing Leader will reset their respective trip meters at the beginning of a ride and that one-way mileage, rounded to the nearest 10, will be used (55 will become 50,  56 will become 60). If there is a major discrepancy or the Wing Leader forgets (ya’ll must remind him/her to reset) the Tail Gunner’s odometer reading will be used or the two will be averaged. Circumstances will dictate the FAIR way to determine mileage. Public Service events (e.g., Special Olympics, Highway Clean-Up, Cochise County Handicapped Association Ride/BBQ) will be given a 50-mile rating.

Once the group reaches their destination the Wing Leader will take a list of who is present. Once the Wing Leader returns home he/she will email the Web Master the list and mileage for posting to the spreadsheet.

At the end of the year the totals for each person in good standing i.e. GWRRA Member with valid membership card, who had attended at least 4 events will be divided by 100 and that number of tickets will go into the drawing bucket (450 miles = 4 tickets, 451 miles=5 tickets).the tickets will be rounded off the same as we do with the miles on a ride

As you can quickly determine, the more one rides or supports Public Service Events the better their odds of winning the $100 and $50 Savings Bond which will be drawn at the next January Gathering.  Now lets get out there and enjoy each other’s company, the great outdoors, and possibly win a cool prize.
